Property Pole Replacement

The owner of this property in Booval contacted our team after receiving a defect notice from Energex relating to the property’s electrical supply pole.

Following an inspection, Energex determined that the existing property pole was non-compliant because it was surrounded by hard surfaces that prevented safe access to excavate around the base of the pole. This restricted future maintenance and serviceability requirements, resulting in the pole being defected and requiring replacement.

 

To resolve the issue, Fully Wired coordinated the entire project from start to finish. We engaged a specialist property pole contractor to safely remove and replace the existing pole while ensuring all works complied with current Energex requirements and Australian Standards.

A key part of the project involved liaising directly with Energex to arrange a temporary disconnection of power while the old pole was removed and the new pole installed. Once the replacement was completed, Energex returned to reconnect the electrical supply, restoring power safely and efficiently to the property.

The result was a fully compliant property pole installation that met Energex requirements and eliminated the defect notice. The property owner now has peace of mind knowing their electrical supply infrastructure is safe, accessible and serviceable for years to come.
