This motel in Chermside needed an upgrade for its main switchboard. During our initial inspection, we discovered significant deterioration in the existing busbar, including visible cracking.

Our electricians replaced the existing switchboard with a new lockable metal weatherproof switchboard, upgraded all the fuses to circuit breakers, installed safety switches on all required circuits, upgraded the main switchboard building isolator to a circuit breaker, installed meter disconnect links for all units to comply with Energex QEMM requirements, and upgraded the main earthing to comply with AS3000.

The main switchboard is now compliant with electrical standards, and the motel residents and visitors have peace of mind knowing that there is a safe switchboard on the property.
